Ann's Treasury of Tales

These unusual stories are favourites of Ann's older children (aged 7-11)

Two combine music and water. Her exhilarating story of 'The Freedom Flag' is set to Smetana's Moldau River. Ondine the Water Nymph is de la Motte Fouqué's famous tale set to Ravel's descriptive "Ondine". Oscar Wilde's moving short story of "The Nightingale and the Rose" shows Ann Rachlin's sensitive talent for setting great literature to great music at its best.

The pianist in Chopin's Mazurka in A minor Op 17 No 4 and "Ondine" is Ann's late husband, Ezra Rachlin.
